A native of the north Chicago suburbs, I have a love for tavern-style pizza and our sports teams (no matter how atrocious they are).
I am a proud alum of Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., where I graduated with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish Linguistics. There's no other place like Bloomington!
When I'm not at work, I love biking, sewing, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs, Blackhawks, and Hoosiers!

Over the years, I've had several opportunities to work for incredible organizations that have shaped my career.
While at IU, I went all over the state reporting and anchoring for WTIU News in Bloomington, a member station of PBS. I also am forever grateful for my time as a co-host, reporter, anchor, and executive producer for Indiana University Student Television’s news department.
In 2023, I became an honorary Angeleno while I worked in NBC National's Los Angeles bureau. I had the opportunity to contribute to Nightly News with Lester Holt and the TODAY Show. With both programs, I worked alongside producers and correspondents on stories impacting the western United States and was a three-time Nightly News: Kids Edition correspondent.
